My at-home SARS-CoV-2 antibody test result

Recently I had a false positive PCR result for SARS-CoV-2. To confirm that I was not infected, I did an assay for viral antibodies in my blood using a rapid, at home, lateral flow assay. In this video I explain how the assay works and what my results mean.

  1. Great video as usual — thanks! However for anyone reading, I believe you are supposed to use the alcohol pad (provided) on your finger before piercing it. Professor Racaniello probably knew his finger was clean, and the piercing is not any worse than getting a common sliver, but just to be safe it is better to use it.
